Unfortunately, I cannot offer exchanges under normal circumstances. Here's why:

    • Packaging ceramics is a delicate process

    • Once unwrapped, the protection for shipping is compromised

    • I can't risk items breaking on the return journey

    • I wouldn't be able to replace items broken in return transit

Exception: Items broken in original transit can be replaced (see Returns Policy)

Product Care & Information

Are your products microwave and dishwasher safe?

Yes! All our products are both microwave and dishwasher safe.

However, we recommend hand washing after each use to:

  • Extend their lifespan

  • Keep them extra safe

  • Avoid items falling against them in the dishwasher

Will my ceramics look exactly like the picture?

Each piece is handmade and unique. Variations in glaze appearance can occur due to:

  • Texture on the clay surface

  • Humidity when glaze was applied

  • Position in the kiln

These variations make your ceramics truly one-of-a-kind!

Are your products durable?

Our products are high-fired to 1260°C – vitrified stoneware designed for commercial use. They can withstand:

  • High temperatures

  • Temperature fluctuations from 0°C to 100°C+

However, ceramics will break if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces. We check and test all products before shipping and guarantee no items leave our studio with hairline cracks or faults.

What are the small hairline cracks in the glaze?

This is called "glaze crazing" and is a perfectly normal feature of many glazes.

  • It's not a crack and won't affect function or hygiene

  • May continue to develop over time (this is normal!)

  • Occurs when clay and glaze shrink at different rates, creating a beautiful crackled effect

  • Not all ceramics will feature crazing

Can I fix a broken product?

You could try Araldite (two-part epoxy glue) to repair broken pieces.

Important: If you've glued a product back together:

  • Do not use it for warm or hot liquids/food

  • These adhesives soften above 60-70°C

  • Keep as a decorative piece instead
